What is the difference between buying from Bridal Online versus buying from a store or on eBay?
- First and foremost, selection. The Romantic Gowns By Bridal Online Store has over 195 different dress styles to choose from. All of our gown photos were taken by a local photographer in our distribution center. The gown you see in the photos is the gown you will receive. Other sites use magazine photos or photos that are not their own.
- Then, there’s availability. We stock over 4,000 dresses in our warehouse in Dayton, Ohio, and most dresses can be shipped out the next day.
- Then, of course, there’s convenience. You can shop in the comfort of your own home or office. You don’t even have to dress up (unless, of course, you’re at the office). You can shop for your dress in a robe and slippers with your hair in rollers, if you want, while drinking your favorite beverage. And let’s not forget your friends and family. People who you might want to look at your dress, or help you decide between two or three dresses. They can look at your choice(s) from their home or office, at their convenience.

Is my purchase secure over the Internet?
Your purchase could not be more secure with us. All your sensitive information is transmitted with 128 bit encryption directly through PayPal and Google to your credit card company. No one ever sees your credit card information. Our employees receive your name, items on your order and shipping address ONLY. You have a better chance of having some one else having your credit card number going to a store than typing it directly on your computer. You are also guaranteed your purchase through your credit card, PayPal and Google.

Can I return the dress if I don't like it?
Yes, our return policy is under the
Policy button above. All you need to do is call us for an authorization code and return the dress within three calendar days counting the day you receive your dress to get your money back (less a 10% re-stocking and shipping fee). This is a minor risk for a great savings. That means you need to ship it in three days, not for us to receive it in three days. As long as the dress is in a new condition, not a custom dress and not expedited (shipped faster than regular or ground), we will happily refund your payment.
You can also exchange your purchase for another dress, size or color with no re-stocking fee.
***Select Wedding Gowns and Bridesmaids will
be charged a 50% restocking fee if returned and a 25% restocking
fee for exchanges. This DOES
NOT apply to the Romantic Gowns Collection. Please see the
item's description for details.

What if I order more than one gown, and I return the others?
If you order more than one gown, as long as you keep
one gown you will be given a full refund on one gown,
and be charged a 10% (minimum $29) restocking fee on the other gowns that are returned.
For example, if you order three gowns and return 2
gowns, you will get a full refund on one gown and be
charged a restocking fee on the other. Please see our

Do you send out Color Swatches?
Yes, we can send you color swatches. Please email us at
info@romanticgowns.com with your name and
address and what colors you are wanting to see, and we
will send them right out.
Please understand that these swatches are to be used only as a
guide for the colors offered. Colors may vary due to dye lots and
different types of fabric. Please use these swatches as a general
example, as the actual gown's color may vary from that of the swatch.
We cannot guarantee gown colors to match exactly to the swatches.
Dye lot variations do exist. Please use these swatches only as a reference,
as they may not represent the final color of the gown.

Can I return a dress that I custom ordered as a zipper back?
If the gown normally comes
in a lace-up back and we have made it a zipper back, it would be
considered a custom and not returnable or exchangeable.

I am confused, what size wedding gown should I order?
Wedding gowns run smaller than normal clothing sizes. If you wear a 12 in normal clothing, you would
most likely wear a 14 in a bridal gown. The size chart is a guide, unless you are getting
Corinne or Jasmine gowns, disregard the hip measurement. If you tried on dresses in a bridal shop, order the size that fit you best. If you wear W (Women) example: 20W, you need to add one size,
so a 20W would be actually a size 22.

Remember all wedding gowns will need minor alterations, whether you get them from us or your local
bridal shop. If you have a problem finding a seamstress in your area to do alterations at a reasonable price, we can assist you in that also.

Where can I try on your dresses?
The reason that our prices are so low is because we do not have the overhead of a bridal shop.
We are mainly online, that is the reason we have great
prices. These are the same dresses that you would
find in local bridal shops. Please remember to check our
return policy, you can get your money back or exchange your dress if you are not completely satisfied.

Do you offer alterations?
We have the best seamstresses in the area. Normally, we can turn around our alteration within 7-14 days. We recommend, however, that you find someone locally as it is much more convenient
for both you and the seamstress.
We realize that many areas lack skilled bridal seamstresses, or they are very expensive. This is the reason we offer this service. We do recommend that you approve the dress before any alterations, as the dress will not be returnable once the alterations have been completed.

I don't have a PayPal account, can I use my credit card online?
Yes, you are only using the service PayPal provides to process your credit card, you do not have to sign up with PayPal. We actually do not recommend signing up for PayPal if you haven't already done so. You are still covered with their insurance, and it will take 3-5 days to verify your information. You might want to consider creating a PayPal account in the future if you do a lot of internet shopping.
After you add all your items to your shopping cart, click on secure checkout. You will be forwarded to the PayPal screen with payment to IBC (This is our parent company, International Bridal Company). Depending on your browser, you will see on your screen something similar to:
Just click on the button, and enter all your credit card
information. Remember, you must enter the address exactly
as the credit card company has it.

Yes, we ship worldwide (excluding Bonny Bridal products). The Buyer is responsible for ALL customs and duties (if

Online Store has no control

Do you send Catalogs?
We do not have catalogues. Our prices are so competitive
precisely because we do not invest large amounts of
money in expensive catalogs, and we pass those savings
along to you. It would increase our prices significantly if we printed catalogues. We
have found that most brides are only interested in one or two styles. Most of our styles are available in your local bridal shops for two to three times the price. With our liberal
return policy there is nothing to fear.
We do allow you to keep the dress for three days (counting the day you receive it) without any sales pressure.
A 10% re-stocking fee will be applied for refunds. This is a minor risk for great savings!

Do You have layaway?
Yes, we do offer layaway. To start a layaway you must
pay a non-refundable $75 deposit. The layaway must be
paid off within 60 days.
Select Gowns require 50% down in order for us to order the gown.
You do not have to pay the 50% to start the layaway, just note that
the gown will not be ordered until 50% of the cost is paid and the
layaway cannot be cancelled once the gown is ordered. This DOES
NOT apply to the Romantic Gowns Collection.

phone, or by mail. If paying by mail please download the
Mail-In Order Form and send payments to the address below with information in the letter indicating how you are paying (Weekly, Monthly, Bi-Weekly)

Out-of stock dresses are ordered from our factory when
the first payment is received. Out-of-stock items can
take 8-10 weeks to get in from the time the deposit is
made. If you do not pay the balance within 60 days or contact us before the 60 days are up, you will lose your dress and it will need to be reordered.
If you are ordering a custom dress through the layaway plan, the dress will not be ordered until the full balance is paid off.
Each payment must reference the name on the initial payment.
Cancellations of layaways must email
returns@romanticgowns.com to cancel their order and they
will be refunded what they have paid minus the $75 deposit. Select Gowns cannot be cancelled once they are ordered.

What type of payments do you accept?
We currently accept all major credit cards or PayPal
over the internet. You do not have to have a PayPal
account to pay over the internet. We also accept Money
Orders, Money Gram, Western Union and Wire Transfers. We
can take personal checks, but all personal checks will
be held 8-10 weeks for processing. No rush orders can be
processed with a personal check.

How is the dress shipped?
We will be sending you the dress the same way we send it to a bridal shop,
inside-out (to protect the beading), in a box wrapped in a plastic bag to protect it from water and dirt. After your alterations are complete and before the wedding, you will need to send your dress to be professionally steamed or pressed. Do not try to compare the dress to the ones already pressed; it is like trying to compare wrinkled clothes to the professionally dry cleaned ones.
